A Chance meeting, Willingness to Risk it all & 5 Years Down, Nneka & Onome Are In For A Lifetime!

A couple of months went by.  I saw him from a distance one day when I was driving with my roommate, Fatima. And I said to her, “I think this guy is so cute.” She said they had a friend in common at the time. And most weekends, they all hung out together. So I told her to let me know when next he’s around and I would come through. At this time I had just started my business so I was very busy on the weekends.

The next weekend I went out for a makeup appointment and on my way back. I then got a text from Fatima saying Onome just asked her about me and was wondering if she could convince me to come over to hang out with them. So I texted her back saying “convince ke? I’m on my way jor”. Then I told her to call me while he was there and act like she is trying to convince me over the phone to come over. We played it out well. I threw on a onesie and went over.

This time he didn’t dull, the first thing he did was ask me for my number and we took it from there. We hung out every single day after that day. 5 years later, I’m about to marry the love of my life.
